How Long a Build Takes
The fitting session and pickup day usually aren't the same day. Here's what determines the gap between them.
What Drives the Timeline
Stock Components vs. Special Order
If the head and shaft combination from your fitting is already on the shelf, a single-club build is typically ready in two to three business days — loft and lie set, length cut, grip installed, and gapping rechecked against your card before it leaves the bench. Special-order heads or low-stock shafts add the manufacturer's lead time, quoted at the end of your session.
Full iron sets take longer even with everything in stock, since each head gets bent to spec individually and rechecked against the gapping printout.
Typical Turnaround
Single club, stock parts2–3 days
Full iron set, stock parts5–7 days
Special-order components+ mfr. lead time
